The Road detailed reflection

As i read the book The Road it shows me just how good if a job it does being really simple in all of its details. The book is very eerie also it makes me feel very alone and very vulnerable as i read. The book itself is very easy to read and yet it seems so fantastic and detailed all at the same time. The only problem i really have with this book is that it does not put quotation marks around the speech lines. This is confusing especially when there can be three people talking at the same time. All in all this book makes me feel like humanity has no audacity for what is coming in the future even though this is eons from now. The book offers a setting of almost grayish dull faint light constantly as the sun is beginning to burn out for all of earth. Then when i put the book down im so grateful to see just everything is okay and it isn't just two people left alive in this world.
